This past week kicked off my adventures in dog fostering. Every spring I get the itch for another pup and this spring is no different. In order to “tide me over” a little while longer, I thought fostering would be a good opportunity to see what it would be like with two dogs in the house or to remember what a puppy is like. Lexi is going on 10 years and is definitely not showing signs of slowing down anytime soon, so another dog in the house might be good for her too.
Meet Palometa, my first foster! She was rescued from Mexico by the fine folks at Pet Project Rescue here in Minneapolis.
