Weather to the north and west: cloudy, grey, rainy. Weather to the south: sunny, relatively clear. Headed south this evening to Cashel where majestic ruins known as the Rock of Cashel sit atop a hill in the midst of farmlands.
The Garmin is definitely getting a workout while I’m here. With 3-7 different exits from a roundabout, multiple lanes, and sometimes even a stoplight or two or three, it has reduced the number of times I circle around trying to read the cryptic road signs or take the wrong exit. I confused it as I drove further south toward Cork. Apparently, the N8 has recently been replaced by the M8, a 120kmph “motorway”. Really just drove through Cork on the way back to Limerick (an intentional detour). Will need to revisit in the daytime to explore the town and shopping.
