Come Again Some Other Day.
After being in Ireland for three months and learning to never ever, ever leave home without a rain coat and an umbrella, I ended up in Monaco in the rain. Without an umbrella. While I had no plans to bask in the sun on a beach in Monaco today, more rain was just a little depressing. In many of the areas of Monaco that I saw (I’m embarrased to admit I did the Monaco Mini Train Tour again), you can tell that there is an abundance of money floating around. No pun intended…
The 2.2 square km country is full of cool yachts in very blue water, many, many Ferraris and other expensive cars, and police officers. Supposedly there is one police officer for every 60 residents. And even more interesting, with over 33,000 residents, there is no unemployment in this country.
